We are seeking an experienced and passionate chef to join our dynamic team at Peaks Restaurant, located in the heart of The Sebel Pinnacle Valley Resort. As a Commis Chef, you will play a key role in creating unforgettable culinary experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
* Food preparation and presentation
* Following and executing recipes to the exacting standards of our kitchens
* Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen environment
* Adhering to all health, safety and food hygiene regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of workplace, health & safety procedures & food safety standards
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and food safety
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends, mornings and evenings.
