As a key member of our Care Services team, you will play a hands-on role supporting participants in our SIL Accommodation homes, delivering in-home care services and providing community access support.
The successful candidates will possess the experience to work with individuals with complex care needs.
Local applicants are preferred.
Key Duties IncludeMedication administrationHome Based Daily Living SupportTaking participants for appointments and other community participationBehaviour observation and supportMeal preparation and shopping assistanceMaintaining a record of participant progressAssessing participants to determine continuing needsAssistance in building participant self-image and self-confidenceManual Handling of participantsAvailability to cover a range of shifts including sleepovers and weekendsSome participants require 24-hour care so a variety of shifts will be available.
Skills and ExperiencesWho We're Looking ForWe are seeking experienced, capable support workers with a background supporting challenging clients.
