What you'll be doing
As an Assistant in Nursing, you'll deliver individualised care to help patients achieve the best possible health outcomes, working under the direction of Registered Nurses and Midwives. You'll play a vital role in daily care activities and contribute to a safe, high‐quality clinical environment.
* Assist patients with personal care, mobility and communication needs
* Provide nursing care within your scope of practice to support patient wellbeing
* Maintain accurate, timely documentation to guide ongoing care
* Support routine clinical procedures, equipment setup and cleaning
* Participate in person‐centred care, quality improvement activities and safety reporting

Essential Requirements
* Applicant must hold Certificate III Acute Care (HLT33115) or enrolled in Bachelor of Nursing degree second year
Selection Criteria
* Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
* Demonstrated ability to use information technology systems.
* Proven ability to be self-motivated, flexible and adaptive as clinical needs arise, and still remain within the scope of practice of an AIN
* Demonstrated ability to manage conflict situations in a calm and professional manner
* Demonstrate effective verbal and written skills,, including the ability to communicate with the multidisciplinary health care team
