About the Role
As a CBRE Data Center Shift Lead Technician, you will oversee the team that performs advanced preventative maintenance and complex corrective repairs within a Data Center operation. You will report to the Critical Facilities Manager and work closely with Lead Engineers and Technicians on site, within the Critical and Technical Services job function that is responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.
What You'll Do
* Manage, plan, coordinate, schedule, and oversee the workload, deadlines, and day‐to‐day activities of the support team members to ensure effective delivery of services. Provide holiday, training, and sickness cover for other members of the shift team.
* Ensure daily site inspections of all Mechanical & Engineering systems and technical equipment are conducted.
* Verify the site's environmental conditions provide a safe work environment.
* Assist staff with difficult planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on all equipment as needed.
* Review meter readings from UPS, PDU and utilities to ensure accurate information. Present to management and key stakeholders.
* Confirm safety processes and requirements on all regulatory requirements and quality standards are met.
* Review quality checks and retain comprehensive maintenance records.
* Develop and implement advanced work processes, Job Hazard Analysis reports, and SOPs for critical work with risk assessment.
* Complete all required training to ensure successful completion of all job‐related responsibilities.
* Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.
* Showcase expertise in own job discipline and in‐depth knowledge of other job disciplines within the organization function.
* Coach others to develop in‐depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.

What You'll Need
* High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 5‐8 years of job‐related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
* Certificate III – Electrical/NSW Electrical License (Non‐Restricted) OR Air conditioning & Refrigeration License.
* Driver's license.
* Australian citizen – for NV1 vetting clearance.
* Ability to work shifts that may include weekends and holidays.
* Meet the physical requirements of this role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lb. or more.

* Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business.
* In‐depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
* Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
* Highly sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate somewhat complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial‐related calculations.
