You'll play a vital role in delivering and improving IT Service Management practices for the Agency ICT Services Branch. This position offers autonomy and the opportunity to contribute expertise in practices such as Release Management, Change Enablement, and Problem Management. Working Monday-Friday, fulltime hours, Midland office location with WFH options after training. This role pays $80.00 per hour + Super.
**Duties**:
As a Senior IT Service Management Officer, your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying, documenting, and categorizing practice work items.
- Engaging with technical owners and stakeholders to resolve practice work items efficiently.
- Reporting on practice operations and performance.
- Implementing continuous improvements to practice capability and performance.
- Supporting other OCIO directorates and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
**Essential Criteria**:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Minimum 5 years' IT Service Management experience in ITIL-based practices.
- Experience in collaborative team environments.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to meeting work targets and standards.
**Desirable Criteria**:
- Experience in related IT practices
- Technical documentation
- Atlassian JIRA Service Desk/Confluence
- Previous work in government environments
