Job Description
* Diary management.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (Counsel, defendant's solicitors, clients, staff) on Solicitors behalf.
* Send emails on Solicitors behalf.
* Draft letters for Solicitors signature.
* Communicate advice to clients on Solicitors behalf.
* Book Solicitors attendance at various conferences (ie ALA National Conference).
* Liaise with potential new clients from first point of contact through to follow up.
* Liaise with clients over the course of their claim.
* Regular file review / update meetings with Solicitor.
* File management.
* Booking medical assessment appointments for client.
* Manage personal travel at times.
* Manage personal appointments at times.
The Successful Applicant
* Minimum 3 years experience in a law firm.
* Experience in high level executive support.
* High level of customer service.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Excellent proofreading skills.
* Excellent quality control.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
* Self-motivated.
* Ability to prioritise workload and conflicting demands.
* Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure.
* Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Ability to conduct internet research.
* Ability to handle difficult people with sensitivity, respect and patience.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion.
