Duties & responsibilities
The successful candidate will generate sales of new vehicles to prospective purchasers, maximising Dealership profitability and maintaining an exceptional standard of customer care with the current and future client base.
Duties include:
* Build on existing customer relationships through account management and selling, utilising your excellent communication skills to maximise results
* Identify new prospects and develop an in-depth understanding of their needs whilst ensuring the highest level of customer service is delivered
* Achieve and succeed targets and profit levels
* Conduct marketing and networking activities to generate sales as required
* Learn & maintain a high level of product knowledge of market brands & models
* Some flexibility in work hours are required as a number of our clients are only available outside of normal business hours
* Maintain the CRM data base producing reports accurately in a timely professional manner
* Work closely with other dealership departments to ensure each customer receives the best customer experience
Skills & Experience
* Industry technical knowledge and / or experience in truck sales preferred but not essential
* An ability to work unsupervised with a positive, and can-do approach
* A friendly, warm and outgoing personality who is reliable, punctual and trustworthy
* Demonstrated experience to forge new relationships whilst maintaining existing customer requirements with your exceptional communication skills both internally and externally
* Strong computer skills with demonstrated experience using the Microsoft Office suite
* An ability to follow and maintain established processes
* A current Heavy Duty Truck licence, this is an advantage but not essential
