About Us
The Lakes Entrance Bowls Club is a premier venue located on the stunning 90 Mile Beach at the gateway to the Gippsland Lakes. Our Club offers a vibrant mix of hospitality and leisure services, including 63 gaming machines, TAB and Keno facilities, a 250-seat bistro, sports bar, café, private members lounge, and two artificial bowling greens. We also operate the adjoining Woodbine Tourist Park, providing a range of accommodation options.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead the operational and strategic management of our Club and Tourist Park. Reporting directly to the Board of Management, this role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient, ethical, and profitable operation of all business units.
Key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing all operational areas including gaming, hospitality, accommodation, and administration.
* Managing budgets, cash flow, and financial reporting to the Board.
* Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (Liquor Licensing, AML/CTF, OH\&S, VCGLR, etc.).
* Leading and mentoring staff, fostering a safe and positive workplace culture.
* Driving marketing, promotions, and community engagement initiatives.
* Maintaining property, plant, and equipment to optimal standards.
* Acting as the Club's licensee or nominee for all statutory licenses.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
* Senior management experience, ideally within the Club or hospitality industry.
* Strong knowledge of gaming operations, compliance, and governance.
* Operational expertise across bar, gaming, wagering, food, and accommodation.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
* Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and reporting.
* Marketing and promotional experience.
* Ability to hold a Victorian Venue Nominee Licence, RSA, and RSG.
Tertiary qualifications in Business or a related field will be highly regarded but are not essential.
