We enable customers to instantly pay their restaurant bills by scanning a QR code via their phone, without requiring an app or registration. This speeds up table turnover, increases tips for waiters, and enhances customer loyalty and experience. Customers can also split the bill with friends and pay using Apple Pay, Credit Card, or in instalments.

Role Overview

This role reports to the State Sales Manager and involves acquiring new restaurants onto our smart payment system through a consultative sales approach. As a Business Development Manager, you will be one of the initial points of contact for restaurants engaging with Qlub.

We rely on this team to provide feedback to our Marketing and Product teams, so those excelling in this position will actively participate in company-wide strategies aimed at business expansion. Our Sales team aims to enhance restaurants' revenue potential through best-in-class payment systems and technology.

We seek sales professionals who are passionate about the restaurant industry and take pride in the products they represent. This role operates in a dynamic, client-facing sales capacity, demanding industry expertise, proven sales prowess, and an extensive network of industry connections.

Responsibilities

- Achieve quarterly goals in a sales position with hands-on experience.

- Be ambitious, persistent, and focused on achieving results.

- Meet deadlines and achieve ambitious goals under pressure.

- Present innovative perspectives to customers and challenge their business outlook.

- Monitor economic and industry trends and identify new business prospects.

- Be well-versed in the restaurant industry and address customer concerns from various angles.

- Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills and strong presentation abilities.

- Drive business value throughout sales interactions.

- Analyze business opportunities and understand potential buyers.

- Leverage data for decision-making and persuasive arguments.

- Craft compelling strategies that yield tangible outcomes.

- Have meticulous attention to detail in administrative tasks (20-35% of workload).

- Be proficient in PC applications and technologically savvy.

- Quickly grasp complex concepts independently.

- Be proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
