We innovate through a culture of experimentation and ownership, enhancing the ability for our customers to experience the world.ResponsibilitiesConducts research end-to-end for high impact, guiding stakeholders to the best collaboration with research aligned to their goals.Initiates research efforts serving Product Vertical goals with a well-informed understanding of the business.Formulates programmes of study and knowledge sharing relevant to the strategic objectives of their teams.Leads projects in collaboration with other stakeholders.Assesses pros and cons of various research methodologies and mentors others in their use for high-quality execution.QualificationsMasters Degree or PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Science, Psychology, Social Science, or related field.10+ years of relevant experience in consumer-facing business domains.Expert in quantitative research (log analysis, internal metrics triangulation, survey design, sampling, crosstabs, statistical concepts, etc.).
Experience with qualitative methods and user-centered design (interviews, diary studies, direct observation, think-aloud usability testing, etc.).
Comfortable planning, scoping, conducting, analyzing, and communicating research.Experience evaluating, negotiating, and working with external research vendors.Ability to describe user problems and business opportunities to diverse stakeholders using both quantitative and qualitative data.Solid analytical thinking and ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.Excellent storytelling and communication skills; able to speak fluently with business people, product teams, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders (English).
