About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic lawyer with corporate and commercial experience to join our legal team.

This role involves negotiating, drafting, and reviewing commercial contracts, managing disputes, and offering strategic legal guidance across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day legal support on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including transactional work, client and supplier agreements, intellectual property matters, and governance matters.
* Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business and provide legal advice on corporate and commercial matters.
* Manage a diverse and complex workload, including overseeing and managing disputes or claims related to business operations, and working with external counsel when necessary.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both locally and abroad.
* Work with cross-functional teams to define clear legal requirements for the implementation of their respective roadmaps.
* Prepare materials and lead legal discussions with internal and external stakeholders, including the Board, on key legal matters.
About You
To qualify for the role, you must possess a law degree and an unrestricted Australian Practising Certificate.
You should also have between 3 to 6 years' post-qualification experience with a mid or top-tier firm or in-house, and experience working on corporate and commercial work.
In addition, you should demonstrate a keen intellect, energy, and enthusiasm to learn and grow with the business, as well as effective communication skills (both written and oral).
You should also have clear and concise drafting abilities with strong attention to detail, a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach, and the ability to work effectively in a team and autonomously.
