About the role
Shape the Future of Public Transport Communications As Strategic Communications Manager, you will lead the development and execution of marketing and communications strategies that strengthen the PTA’s brand and promote public transport across Perth and regional Western Australia.
You will manage a team delivering customer-focused campaigns across digital and traditional platforms, ensuring consistent messaging and high-quality content. The role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners, as well as oversight of contracts, budgets, and key relationships.
We’re seeking a qualified professional with experience in integrated communications, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential, along with a commitment to delivering effective, customer‑centric outcomes.
About You!
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Tertiary qualification in marketing, advertising or other relevant discipline.
- Significant experience in managing customer‑focused integrated communication campaigns.
- High degree of competency in team management.
- Experience managing performance issues.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to consult effectively and provide high‑level advice to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.

This is a permanent full‑time opportunity available for an immediate start. Applicants assessed as suitable through this process may be used to fill similar vacancies both fixed term and permanent that may arise within the next 12 months.
