About the Role Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Cabinet Maker to join their Geraldton-based team. This is a hands-on role responsible for fabricating high-quality cabinetry and joinery items in a workshop setting, as well as mentoring apprentices and upholding safety and quality standards. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Interpret plans, blueprints, and specifications to produce quality cabinetry Fabricate and assemble timber and laminate components for cabinets, furniture, fixtures, and fittings Operate woodworking machinery and tools for cutting, shaping, trimming, and sanding materials Ensure accurate measurement, fit, and alignment of cabinetry pieces Reinforce joints and assemble components using nails, screws, adhesives, or fittings Conduct quality control to ensure compliance with project specifications Complete job checklists and daily timesheets Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment Adhere strictly to company safety procedures and workplace health and safety (WHS) standards Mentor and provide guidance to apprentices as required Communicate professionally with supervisors, clients, and other team members Skills and Experience Required: Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker in a commercial or residential setting Excellent ability to read and interpret technical drawings and job sheets Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality finishes Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team Familiarity with a wide range of power and hand tools Sound understanding of WHS practices and workshop safety procedures Qualifications and Licences: Trade Certificate in Cabinet Making (essential) Construction Induction White Card (essential) Current valid C Class Driver’s Licence (preferred) Proficiency in English (written and verbal communication) Working Conditions: May be exposed to dusty, dirty, noisy, and high-risk environments Required to perform physical labour, including lifting and prolonged periods of standing Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required May be required to work with hazardous tools and equipment Why work with our client?
