We are seeking a seasoned Project Engineer to join a respected construction company in Australia, where you will have the opportunity to shape the success of high-profile projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
* Attend site meetings and collaborate with senior management to ensure project success
* Manage the engineer team, assisting with delegating individual responsibilities, development, and ensuring overall team performance
* Lead health, safety, quality, and environmental management initiatives
* Review project documents, including estimates, design drawings, proposals, and contracts, to deliver structural and fitout components of a large multi-billion dollar development
* Manage stakeholders and resources, ensuring relevant personnel are on site to deliver key project objectives and maintaining quality throughout
Requirements
* A proven track record of delivering similar sized projects for Tier 1 builders in a management role (minimum of 5 years)
* A trade or tertiary qualification in construction
* Strong software skills in programs such as Procore, Jobpac, and MS suites
* Experience in developing talent
* Experience managing large teams in a Tier 1 major project environment
* Compliance with legislative and policy requirements
* Strong finishes and services experience on luxury apartments is highly regarded
