This role is cross-functional and highly visible, working closely with local and international stakeholders and earning trust at all levels in building business cases and rapidly transitioning to successful implementation.The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, great at meeting multiple deadlines through exceptional business planning skills, able to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, along with having experience in sales/marketing and reporting business financials.Our environment is fast-paced and requires someone who is flexible, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with multiple teams, vendors, partners, and management.You will operate both strategically and tactically; thinking big to drive new opportunities and evaluate tradeoffs, diving deep into data to uncover customer insights, and maintaining operational excellence within your programs and with colleagues across Amazon. Join us!Key job responsibilitiesBusiness Planning: Product category analysis, Customer needs understanding, Financial analysis, and Short/Mid-term business planning.Business Execution: Working with team and stakeholders to influence global team, deliver on planned business goals.Projects and Initiatives: Organize business critical projects, lead / participate as key member to drive important initiatives.A day in the lifeTo succeed, you’ll need to be willing to roll up your sleeves, wear several hats, show hustle, and work collaboratively across multiple teams. You will define the strategy, identify opportunities for accelerating growth and define the plan to get there working with marketing and product teams. You will build and prioritise the roadmap and deliver strong results.Basic Qualifications7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experienceBachelor's degree or equivalentExperience working across functional teams and senior stakeholdersExperience developing strategies and execution plans to achieve business goals.Experience in analyzing financial drivers, and applying analytical and quantitative skills to develop business cases, and conduct root cause analyses.Experience with writing documents that summarize analyses and insights, and presenting these to senior/executive leadership.Experience as a product manager or owner with end-to-end product deliveryPreferred QualificationsExperience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insightsStrong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actionsAbility to think strategically and execute methodically, working in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desiredOwner mentality and an entrepreneurial drive; proven ability to think big and influence othersExperience working cross-functionally across Marketing, Product Management, Retail, Business Development and ResearchStrong verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organizationAcknowledgement Of CountryIn the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
