We mill and blend over 100 bespoke spice, salt, sugar and tea blends for our self-scoop concept stores, supported by high quality home and giftwares. **About the role**
Our Assistant Managers deliver on our mission to inspire and nurture cooking at home through genuine knowledgeable customer service and an incredible retail experience for every customer.
They support the Store Manager to maintain quality standards across all aspects of their store including;
- In store customer experience
- Daily operations and the opening and closing of the store
- Stock management procedures
- Store merchandising and VM for promotional campaigns
- Store cleanliness and presentation
- Training and leadership of the team
- Achievement of weekly sales targets and budgets

- You are passionate about food and love retail
- You love to cook and know your way around the kitchen. Spice knowledge is a definite, but not essential, bonus
- You can create incredible customer experiences within the retail environment
- You can build brand awareness and ongoing relationships in the local community
- You have a positive, can-do outlook & are a natural problem solver
- You are a confident inspiring leader who is an excellent communicator, organiser and delegator
- You can independently work to achieve budgets, hit targets & meet deadlines on a weekly basis
- You remain calm under stress and can multi-task with swift efficiency
- You have previous experience within a retail, hospitality or FMCG brand
