About the Program
headspace Early Psychosis is a nationally recognised leader in youth mental health, delivering evidence-based, recovery-oriented services. Our model of care is grounded in the renowned Orygen EPPIC (Early Psychosis Prevention and Intervention Centre) framework, ensuring world-class early intervention for young people.
The program is structured across three specialist teams:
Mobile Assessment & Treatment Team (MATT)
Continuing Care Team (CCT)
Functional Recovery Team (FRT)
About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced and passionate Team Leader to lead the Functional Recovery Team. In this pivotal role, you’ll provide clinical leadership and operational management to ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based interventions that support the functional recovery of young people.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, support, and supervise a multidisciplinary team, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
Coordinate workflows, rosters, and clinical resources to maintain service efficiency and client-centered care.
Drive collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure integrated and holistic support.
Implement quality assurance processes, service reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Foster a culture of hope, recovery, and inclusion for young people and their families.
About You
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline with current registration or membership with AHPRA or another professional body (provisional or full).
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in mental health, with at least 2 years supervising multidisciplinary teams.
Demonstrated understanding of evidence-based practices in mental health and psychosocial support.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Understanding of relevant legislation, policy, and clinical governance in mental health service provision.
