In this role, you'll:
Join our Regional Road Network Maintenance team within our Road Maintenance and Resilience Division, supporting the delivery of infrastructure and maintenance projects that keep communities connected and people moving safely across NSW.
In this role, you'll:
• Support the planning and delivery of road, bridge and traffic infrastructure or maintenance projects to achieve agreed time, cost, quality and scope outcomes
• Manage project investigations and design activities, including preparing project briefs, estimates and delivery programs
• Prepare technical specifications and contract documentation to support procurement and delivery of works
• Monitor Principal Contractor delivered works to ensure safe, compliant and efficient project delivery
• Apply effective cost management practices to support strong financial performance across projects
• Work collaboratively with internal teams, delivery partners and stakeholders to resolve issues and support successful outcomes
• Contribute to workplace health, safety and environmental management practices across project delivery
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset management and project delivery outcomes.
We have multiple Permanent Full-Time and Temporary Full-Time (up to June 2028) positions available across our Regional Delivery and Statewide Services Project Services West and Contract Partnering teams.
The successful candidate for the Project Services West team may be located in Dubbo or suitable locations across the West Region. The Contract Partnering roles will have a Statewide function, with successful candidates nominally located in Sydney, however regional locations will be considered if they match organisational need. All successful candidates would be expected to travel across NSW perform their duties, with locations of travel dependent on project location.

About you
You're an engineering professional who enjoys working in delivery environments and seeing projects progress from planning through to completion.
You bring:
• Experience or exposure to infrastructure or maintenance project delivery environments
• Knowledge of road, bridge or transport infrastructure construction or maintenance practices
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
• The ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• A collaborative approach and commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
It is also essential that you hold a four-year civil engineering degree from an Australian University or equivalent overseas qualification, a current and valid Australian driver's licence, and have a willingness to travel and work outside standard hours when required.
