Reporting to the Cleaning Manager, the main duty of a General Cleaner is to uphold the overall cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards of the park, its rides, facilities, and equipment. Our cleaning team operates on a variety of shifts, which include pre-opening responsibilities, in-park tasks during operating hours, as well as evening shifts for night trading, the Dreamworld Night Markets, and special events. To be considered for this role you must: Demonstrate a high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail Demonstrate well developed communication, customer service and teamwork skills Be a hand’s-on team player with a positive can-do approach to work tasks Have proven reliability, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently Have flexible availability who can work a variety of shifts between 5 AM and 1 AM, including weekends, school holidays, and peak seasons, as part of a 7-day rotating schedule. Manual handling, physical dexterity and the ability to carry out physically demanding tasks Experience with cleaning equipment such as floor polishers, industrial sweepers, and pressure cleaners, along with a valid manual driver’s license, will be highly regarded.
