**About the Role**
We have a newly created position become available for a Commercial Manager to join our team on the East Coast. Within Centurion's Operational Services Division, the role will provide critical support in the areas of Procurement and Fleet Management. Value will be delivered to the organization through advanced financial analytics and modelling, implementation of procurement best practices and driving real cost savings to the bottom line.
**Duties**
- Analyse P&L results to provide insight and narrative on expenses, ensure accurate branch allocation, correct accounting treatment and balanced internal recoveries.
- Develop reporting and perform analysis to assist the business in understanding fleet operating and life cycle costs.
- Build and maintain equipment plan and activity-based costing models.
- Analyse purchasing trends to improve cost management and ensure charges are in line with supplier contracts & arrangements.
- Drive strategies for continuous improvement and cost saving initiatives.
- Draft and implement company procurement & asset management policies.
- Develop and monitor reporting to identify non-compliance with policies.
- Draft tender documentation, perform response assessment and assist in vendor selection across all procurement activities.
- Actively participate in developing operational budgets & forecasts and sustaining capital plans for Operational Services functions.
- Assist the business in tracking execution and performance against operating & capital plans.
- Develop business cases for Capital Expenditure Requests and facilitate Capital Expenditure approval and payment processes.
- Work closely with management and other team members in providing data-backed recommendations to support effective decision making.
- Provide ad-hoc support as required.

- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or other relevant discipline
- Extensive practical experience in providing financial planning, reporting and controls support as well as business performance support at an operating management level
- Attention to detail with well-developed commercial analytical and financial modelling skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and experience in managing diverse stakeholders
- Ability to comply with company procedures and policies
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite of Programs including Power BI
- Advanced knowledge of ERP and best practice procurement and asset management processes
- Demonstrated experience with warehousing and logistics preferred
