Drafter - Residential Construction - Vectorworks / Revit

While the main business is focused on construction, they have recently set up a new arm of the business that looks after the design side.
Position
As a Drafter, you will play a crucial role in translating architectural and engineering designs into detailed and accurate 3D models. You will collaborate closely with our design and construction teams to ensure seamless communication and integration of models into the overall project workflow. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative and visually stunning projects while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Create detailed 3D models using Vectorworks and Revit based on architectural, construction and engineering designs.
Collaborate with architects, builders, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate representation of design intent.
Generate construction documentation and drawings from 3D models.
Participate in coordination meetings to address design conflicts and ensure project alignment.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in 3D modeling technology.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong understanding of construction detailing.
Experience on high-end residential projects.
Ideally some exposure to fabrication/shop drawings/constructional steel.
Proven experience as a Drafter in the construction industry.
Proficiency in Vectorworks is a must
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
