Description
As a Senior Commercial Advisor, you will play a central role in the commercial operations team, connecting strategy, operations, and customer delivery to drive value and reliability. Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing the performance of long-term power transmission and generation agreements
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, regulators, and internal stakeholders
* Providing commercial advice on contract terms, amendments, and renewals
* Ensuring accuracy in invoicing, governance, and financial compliance across key agreements
* Driving continuous improvement in commercial processes, systems, and reporting
Profile
We are seeking a commercially astute professional with a strong background in the energy or infrastructure sectors. You will bring a proactive mindset and a collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement. To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Experience in commercial advisory, contract management, or business development within energy, infrastructure, or utilities
* Strong ability to interpret and manage complex commercial and legal agreements
* Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business, Law, or Engineering
* A solutions-focused approach with sound commercial judgement and analytical ability
* Experience in power transmission, generation, or energy commercial operations (highly regarded)
