We are seeking a Communications and Stakeholder Advisor for a 12‑month, parental leave cover based in Epping, Victoria. You will support communications, community relations and stakeholder relations. This includes, but is not limited to, publications, newsletters, door‑knocking, weekly and monthly reports, chairing weekly meetings, and taking minutes. Liaise with the construction team to ensure community and stakeholders are notified in advance of works in accordance with the Community Relations strategy. Monitor effectiveness of community and stakeholder engagement activities. Work with the team to ensure public information about the project is clear, timely and accessible for all stakeholders. Update the project consultation database to ensure that all interactions with community, key stakeholders and client are logged accurately. Assist in developing and implementing strategies to mitigate construction impacts and to effectively respond to feedback and concerns. Identify and assist in managing issues and risks pertaining to the project and escalated them to the Communications and Engagement Manager. Assist in managing responses to project‑related inquiries. Attend stakeholder meetings as required. Create content, including organising photography rollout showcasing development works. Respond to project 24/7 1800 number queries and effectively manage engagement. Assist in managing respite and reallocation for residents. About You
Demonstrated experience in communications and stakeholder relations, preferably in a construction or infrastructure environment. Ability to develop clear and concise, community‑focused communication materials drawing from a variety of different sources. Solid verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to produce high‑quality communications materials. Well‑developed organisational and coordination skills with a demonstrated ability to determine priorities and manage tasks under pressure and to tight deadlines. Demonstrated capacity to work with a wide range of people to achieve desired outcomes. We are an equal opportunity employer.
