You will sit within the newly formed Procurement, Property and Contracts Team.The roleAs a Senior Manager - Strategic Procurement (Technology and Digital), reporting to the Senior Executive Leader, Procurement, Property and Contracts, you will be an integral part of the centralised procurement leadership team together leading ASIC's procurement function to become a strategic and integrated function, delivering efficient and long-term value to ASIC.You will lead a team of procurement, category management, and contract management professionals to develop strategic category management plans and lead strategic procurement activities to optimise total cost of ownership and ensure value for money outcomes.You Will Be Responsible ForDesigning, implementing, executing and monitoring the procurement Technology and Digital category management plans in collaboration with Digital, Data and Technology (DD&T) and other business areas.Shaping the long-term procurement pipeline for Technology and Digital categories of spend including Cybersecurity, Digital, Cloud, SaaS, Infrastructure & Managed Services aligned to ASIC's technology and digital strategy.Leading and advising on procurement processes in line with ASIC's strategic direction, government procurement and compliance frameworks.Assessing procurement and probity risk and implementing mitigation plans.Fostering strategic supplier relationships with key technology providers, unlocking opportunities and long-term value.Conduct contract performance management reviews with DD&T and the business to ensure optimal commercial and contractual outcomes.About YouWith your demonstrated experience leading a team in end-to-end procurement as well as exposure to the Technology and Digital categories and supplier market trends, you will have the procurement technical expertise and leadership skills to make an impact and assist ASIC to achieve successful outcomes.You Will Also DemonstrateExperience managing complex end-to-end procurement life cycle from sourcing strategy, strategic planning, tender development and evaluation and contract management.Strong knowledge of the PGPA Act and Commonwealth procurement framework, and probity requirements, with strong knowledge of best practice.Extensive experience in the development, creation and execution of Category Management Strategies with measurable and achievable savings/reductions and value extraction.A tertiary qualification, preferably an undergraduate degree in Commerce, Business or Law with Procurement disciplines and with relevant experience in end-to-end supply chain, is highly desirable.View the position description for more information or click 'apply' to start your application.Applications close at 11:59pm AEST, Tuesday 10 June 2025.About ASICASIC's remit is one of the broadest of regulators across the world.
