As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality clinical occupational therapy services to clients and patients.
Salary
The salary range for this position is $82,617 to $116,189 per year, plus 11.5% superannuation.
About the Job
Your primary role will be to provide direct occupational therapy services to clients and patients, both individually and in groups, as well as conducting comprehensive patient assessments and developing treatment interventions.
You will also be responsible for coordinating the provision of special aids and equipment, providing consultation and support to other professionals, and completing administrative duties related to sessions instructed.
In addition, you will participate in multidisciplinary activities such as team meetings, ward rounds, and case conferences, as well as delivering education programs within the service and for caregivers.
You will have the opportunity to supervise, instruct, and assess students in approved clinical teaching programs.
Requirements
* A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
* Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Demonstrated knowledge and skills in assessment, treatment, and evaluation within Occupational Therapy practice
* Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
