What's the role?
As a Technology Service Owner, you are accountable for the end-to-end performance, resilience, and operational readiness of WIB Digital platforms supporting institutional clients. You act as the single point of accountability for service stability, availability, and continuous improvement, ensuring platforms operate as Tier 1 services aligned with risk, security, and regulatory requirements. This role requires strong technical judgement, risk-based decision‐making, and clear communication across engineering, service management, and business teams.
Additionally, you'll lead production readiness and release activities, ensuring smooth transitions into BAU support with strong governance, documentation, and risk awareness. You'll own the effectiveness of the Level 3 service model, driving faster incident resolution, reducing reliance on delivery teams, and improving service capability through skills uplift and automation.
You will drive service improvements focused on reducing incidents, enhancing recovery, and improving monitoring and observability. You will manage risk and compliance, support audits, oversee vendor performance, and communicate complex technical issues in a clear, business-focused manner.
What do I need?
* Extensive experience as a Technology Service Owner across digital platforms within banking or financial services, including production services, platform operations, and service ownership.
* Strong understanding of service resilience, incident management, and production readiness.
* Experience working across build, change, and run environments.
* Ability to confidently engage with senior engineers, architects, and business leaders.
* AI‐savvy, with the ability to leverage AI tools to improve delivery and efficiency.
* Demonstrated experience in leading and guiding teams to deliver reliable and high-quality outcomes.
