As our Home Care Gardener, you will be responsible to provide a range of home maintenance and gardening services to meet the needs of the client and promote independence in a supportive role. You’ll also make an impact by: Providing a range of gardening services to meet the needs of Clients and support their independence, dignity and choice. Maintaining privacy and confidentiality rights of Clients and their families. Reporting any incidents or changed circumstances that relate to you, your work or client services to Helping Hand. Ensuring your work diary is kept up to date at all times and reflects your official work roster What you’ll bring To succeed in this role, you will have: Experience in general home maintenance and gardening. Proven ability to work independently under limited supervision. Sound knowledge and experience of using gardening equipment. A Current Driver’s Licence and own car or access to a vehicle Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or be willing to obtain one You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following: Experience providing home-based services to clients in a community setting. Knowledge of Aged Care within a Community Setting.
