Opportunity to elevate Power BI reporting, working with meaningful health data and engaging closely with stakeholders to deliver impactful insights. Full-time (1.0 FTE), maximum-term until 30 June 2027. Remuneration: Band 3 - $73,605.21 - $88,997.93 12% superannuation Generous NFP salary packaging options for up to $18,550 Location - 737 Bourke Street, Docklands Victoria 3008, Close to Southern Cross Train Station, Onsite or Hybrid; WFH (2-3 days) About the role The Power BI Developer is responsible for delivering clear and reliable reporting within the Analytics and Insights team. The role centres on designing and building reports in line with established standards, maintaining and improving existing dashboards, and supporting the ongoing performance of the Power BI environment. Working with operational and population health data, the role requires technical capability, stakeholder engagement, and a focus on understanding how the data represents people in the community. It involves interpreting business needs, translating them into effective reporting solutions and working with data in a way that reflects its context and sensitivity. This position suits someone with solid Power BI skills who is looking to further develop within a collaborative, high-performing team. About Us We are North Western Melbourne Primary Health Network (NWMPHN), Victoria's largest independent, locally governed and run, not-for-profit PHN, dedicated to improving primary health care in our community. Designing and developing Power BI models in accordance with established design principals and development processes, using design-thinking with appropriate data visualisation techniques to convey clear information. Performing routine engagement with user groups to coordinate and develop changes to reporting with a continuous improvement approach. Providing ongoing maintenance of workspaces, dataflows, Power BI reports, and apps, identifying any performance or integrity problems, and taking appropriate actions for opportunities for improvement. Regularly review Power BI updates from Microsoft and determine feasibility for use in reporting. About you: Qualifications or suitable experience in a relevant quantitative field; Health Informatics, Epidemiology, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science Proficient with the development of Power BI models and working with Dataflows and Apps in Power BI Service. Demonstrated ability to develop concise and meaningful reporting for presentations and publications. Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse groups of stakeholders. Capacity to adapt approaches to changing requirements and be able to build solid working relationships with peers and senior leadership. NWMPHN is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
