This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 4, 2025.

Coodanup College is a caring learning setting where we support our students to strive for excellent standards of achievement and behaviour.

Located in Mandurah, our college caters for students in Years 7 to 12.

Through our motto 'Explore, Dream, Discover', our College is known for encouraging our students to explore through their learning, dream about what they want to achieve at school and beyond, and discover ways to be the best they can be.

The successful applicant will assist in the coordination of the student transition program, including organising parent information sessions whilst assisting in developing and introducing systems and intervention strategies which provide a responsive and effective support service for students, family members and staff.

The successful applicant will provide support and advice to staff on strategies for supporting students and facilitate group work processes whilst developing supportive links between the student, the family, the school, feeder schools and other appropriate agencies in the community and establish a network of partnerships with other government and non-government agencies to ensure support is provided in the effective transition for students with disability.

The successful applicant will assist in undertaking assessments on students, including liaising with parents/guardians, students, staff and any other relevant parties whilst maintaining student specific case notes and briefing notes and reports to school leaders and administration staff as required.

The successful applicant will identify student aspirations and interests to develop and implement activities and projects aimed at engaging transitioning students whilst undertaking research on current issues for young people, participate in projects and provide written reports as required.

The successful applicant will oversee relevant enrolment procedures, including the operation of databases and information management systems and the provision of enrolment information to students and families.

- Demonstrated skills and experience in working with individual or small groups of students with disabilities.

- Demonstrated knowledge of the youth sector, particularly local organisations and services
