About the Role
Aussie World Garage is looking for a friendly, motivated, and customer-focused Console Operator to join our team on a casual basis. As the face of our service station, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment, keeping operations running smoothly, and delivering outstanding service to every customer who walks through our doors.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing efficient, friendly customer service at the console, including processing sales and managing cash and card transactions
* Restocking shelves and ensuring the convenience store and surrounding areas remain clean, tidy, and well-presented
* Assisting customers with enquiries in a professional and approachable manner
* Following all health, safety, and security procedures to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff
* Working collaboratively with your team to support the smooth operation of the service station
What We're Looking For
* Experience in customer service or retail—ideally in a service station or convenience store—or a great attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service
* High attention to detail and the ability to stay accurate and calm under pressure
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays
* A friendly, reliable, proactive approach to work
