St Eugene College is a Catholic co‐educational Prep‐12 school located in Burpengary, with an enrolment of over 1500 students and a staff of approximately 150. Responsibilities
* Creating a nurturing and orderly, learner‐centred environment that supports cooperative learning and aligns with relevant curriculum policies.
* Collaboratively developing and implementing quality curriculum programmes and appropriate pedagogy; evaluating effectiveness; assessing and reporting student progress and learning outcomes to students, parents and the community.
* Working with the leadership team, teachers and other staff members to contribute to the professional life of the school and foster a positive school culture.
* Proactively engaging in professional learning to enhance student learning outcomes.
* Establishing positive relationships within pastoral care and supporting the spiritual and moral development of students.
* Ensuring that the teachings and values of the Catholic Church form a foundation for learning and teaching.
Qualifications
* Expertise in designing and delivering effective curriculum programmes aligned with the Australian Curriculum and the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
* Experience creating a supportive, learner‐focused classroom and a commitment to engaging colleagues, students and parents/carers to enrich learning experiences.
* Passion for supporting students' spiritual and moral development.
* Not required to be Catholic.
Eligibility and Safeguarding Requirements
* Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
* Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers.
