As a Principal Technical Specialist, you will lead the strategic development of our IP Transport Core and Access network, ensuring alignment with current and future business needs.
What You'll Do
* Maintain and optimise platform performance while developing the roadmap for network growth and resiliency.
* Set strategic direction for architecture and lifecycle management, ensuring compliance with industry and security standards.
* Lead IP technology evolution discussions, champion automation, and establish engineering guidelines for improved resilience and customer experience.
* Provide Tier 3 support, coordinate and deliver recommendations on future technology and strategy.
* Mentor teams through virtual engineering groups, driving collaboration and knowledge sharing.
What You Bring
* IP networking skills applicable: ISIS, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, EVPN, Traffic Engineering, Segment Routing, SRv6.
* Proven experience designing large-scale, carrier-grade network architectures and introducing new technologies.
* Strong leadership and solving skills, capable of driving change and solving complex technical and business challenges.
* Proficient in network automation, security, and lifecycle management to ensure resilience and scalability.
* Skilled in testing methodologies, identifying platform limits, and developing engineering procedures and guidelines.
