Your experience will also include:Ongoing commitment to workplace safetyStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships quickly.Highly motivated and ability to be versatile.Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.About The RoleThe Maintenance Supervisor - Electrical position will consist of the following duties:Assist in the direction of the day-to-day tasks of the maintenance team, taking into account the planning and scheduling of the teams and the prioritizing and allocating of specific duties to employees.Ensure the effective repair and maintenance of fixed plant assets.Undertake repairs/maintenance and provide assistance to others on the team to prolong equipment life.Troubleshoot and diagnose faults with plant and equipment.Regularly inspect the workplace for safe and healthy work practices and environment and actively promote mine safety among the workforces.Assist in the identification, management and implementation of relevant training, re-training and skills improvement activities.Demonstrate a full commitment to participate in QMAG's supervisor training and other development programs both internal and external.Assist the Maintenance Coordinator to provide feedback and direction in the implementation of the Quality System within the work area.The RequirementsWe are looking for people with the following:Certificate III in Electrotechnology.Current QLD Electrical Licence (Fitter/Mechanic)Previous experience with maintenance of fixed plant assets.Capability to read and interpret technical documents, such as:OEM Maintenance plans.Complex electrical schematics/termination diagrams and update as necessaryOperating experience in fixed plant; preferably in conjunction with large, automated wash plants/crushing/screening/processing plantsExposure to unit cost production, with experience in planning work schedules, budgeting, and meeting deadlinesQMAG Benefits and CultureYou can look forward to working within an inclusive corporate culture that puts people first and always ensures our employees' health and safety.
