You'll be working in the battery shed yard, ensuring the site remains clean, organised, and efficient. This is a generalised summary of what the Forklift/Labour position will entail within your daily tasks.
Responsibilities
* General Housekeeping duties around the battery shed
* Stacking Batteries and wrapping them ready for transporting
* Loading and unloading batteries on pallets, able to operate a tail lift and electric trolly
* Battery Truck offsider rostered on Tuesday - Thursday every week
* Preparing the truck (wraps, spray paint, separators, pallets, pods and straps)
* Supporting day-to-day operations within the battery shed
* Following safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organised work environment
* PPE supplied and must be worn at all times
Requirements
* Valid Forklift Licence and Proven experience operating a forklift
* Full Time employment Monday - Friday with penalties
* Reliability and consistency to attend day shifts
* Able to work effectively in a team or autonomously and be a forward thinker
* Physically fit and capable of manual labour in a busy environment
* Strong work ethic, and be able to follow instructions
* Comfortable working within a small team and supportive to the team
* Previous experience in a battery shed would be an advantage but not essential
