About our client :
Our client is a large, complex organisation delivering major capital projects across Victoria. They are seeking a Senior Category & Project Manager – FFE to lead the strategic sourcing, commercial management and delivery of Furniture, Fittings & Equipment across a significant capital works portfolio.
This is a procurement-led role embedded inside the Capital Projects team, responsible for turning clinical and operational requirements into commercially sound, competitively sourced and contractually delivered FFE packages.
Key responsibilities :
You will own the FFE category across multiple capital projects, including:
* Developing FFE strategies, schedules and budgets from early design through to handover
* Translating room data sheets and user requirements into clear scopes, specifications and tender documentation
* Leading sourcing, tendering and supplier selection in partnership with procurement
* Managing supplier performance, variations, cost and delivery risk
* Ensuring FFE packages are delivered on time, on budget and fit for purpose
* Running stakeholder and user group workshops to align operational needs with commercial outcomes
* Establishing a consistent category and governance framework for FFE across all capital projects
About you :
This will suit a senior category, sourcing or capital procurement professional who brings:
* Experience sourcing and delivering equipment, FFE or complex work packages in major projects
* Strong commercial, contract and supplier management capability
* Ability to work closely with project managers, engineers, support services, Security, Occupational Health and Safety, clinicians and consumers
* Confidence operating in high-stake, regulated environments
* The ability to balance clinical, technical and financial priorities
* Healthcare experience highly regarded, but this will also suit candidates from large, regulated, asset-heavy environments
