Project Manager - Infrastructure Upgrade Specialist
As an experienced and proactive professional, you will have the opportunity to work on various infrastructure upgrades that secure long-term water supply for communities in Australia.
The project involves construction and upgrade of pump stations across multiple locations, including new river intakes, balance tanks, surge vessels, and mechanical and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement cost-effective construction methodologies to identify improvement areas.
* Track project finances, review costs vs. budget, and highlight margin impacts.
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and teams to resolve technical, commercial, and scheduling issues.
* Evaluate materials and services to ensure QA requirements are met.
* Develop ITPs/ITCs, monitor quality plans, and ensure compliance.
* Assess risks, implement hazard controls, and support incident investigations.
* Promote a strong safety culture through pre-starts and toolbox talks.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Degree in Civil Engineering
* 4+ years Project Engineering experience in the Construction Industry (Civil, Utilities, and Water Infrastructure projects highly desirable).
* Ability to communicate and liaise effectively with people at all levels, and other stakeholders as required.
