· Continuing, full time (Part-time will be considered)
· $ 77,703 to $ 89,602 (part time pro rata) per annum (HEO5) + 17% super
· Salary packaging options are available
· days family and domestic violence leave available per annum
· days gender affirmation leave per annum
· days Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural and ceremonial leave per annum
· weeks annual leave plus Christmas week shutdown, per annum, part time pro rata

· Armidale based position - Free on campus parking

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide dedicated administrative support to the Senior Executive Assistant of the Vice-Chancellor and CEO, ensuring the seamless operation of the Vice-Chancellor's Office. You will independently manage complex projects and the Vice-Chancellor's diary, coordinate travel arrangements, develop efficient office systems, and provide authoritative advice to stakeholders across the University. This role offers the opportunity to work at the heart of UNE's executive leadership, exercising independent judgement while contributing to strategic initiatives and operational excellence.

You are a highly organised professional with proven administrative expertise and the ability to work independently within established guidelines. With advanced Microsoft Office skills and exceptional interpersonal abilities, you excel at managing competing priorities, maintaining strict confidentiality, and building professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Your flexible approach, initiative, and readiness to embrace change, including AI and digital technologies, will enable you to thrive in this dynamic executive support role.
About the Vice-Chancellor and CEO's Office
The Vice-Chancellor and CEO's Office sits at the strategic heart of the University of New England, supporting the Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive Officer in leading the University's managerial and strategic operations. As the principal officer responsible for University management and accountable to the University Council, the Vice-Chancellor relies on a dedicated professional team to ensure effective governance, strategic decision-making, and operational excellence. The Office plays a pivotal role in coordinating executive functions, stakeholder engagement, and strategic initiatives that shape UNE's future direction and success.
