About the Procurement Specialist Role
We are seeking an accomplished procurement professional to deliver exceptional procurement services. The role exists to support the delivery of procurement services, providing commercial expertise and assisting with financial management as appropriate.
* Contribute to creating a positive user experience for stakeholders during procurement processes.
* Assist in developing, implementing, and managing category strategies in line with the overall direction of the defined category plan.
* Evaluate supply market engagement activity and ensure it meets industry best practice, organisational values, compliance, and probity requirements.
This role requires a deep understanding of procurement governance and risk management in complex environments.
About You
* A relevant degree qualification or equivalent experience is required.
* A professional procurement qualification such as CIPS is highly desirable.
* A minimum of 3 years' experience working in procurement or commercial management in a large complex organisation is essential.
