Employment team
Our employment team specialises in strategically complex and business-critical disputes and investigations for Australian and multinational companies, government bodies and other organisations, as well as senior executives.
Experienced in employment litigation, our team has acted in all courts and tribunals in which employment-related disputes are litigated including Fair Work Australia, the Supreme Court, Federal Circuit Court and the Federal Court of Australia.
We have acted in significant Fair Work Act litigation, breach of contract claims and secured freezing orders and Anton Piller orders for clients in significant matters involving employee fraud, serious breach and threatened breach of post-employment restraints.

About the role
With a growing practice, we have a new opportunity for a high-performing Employment Lawyer to join this high-profile practice, working closely with partnersDianne BanksandTom Brettto advise clients on a diverse range of matters, including:
Employment litigation in the Fair Work Commission, tribunals, and courts
Workplace investigations and whistleblower disclosures
Employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions
Contracts, policies, and industrial relations matters
Workplace change, performance management, and terminations
Workplace health and safety investigations and prosecutions
About you
As our successful candidate you should be able to demonstrate a desire, and the capacity, to work on high profile and technically challenging transactions and matters.
You should be an ambitious high performer, looking to work in an environment where your performance will be recognised and rewarded.
In addition, you will have:
2-4 years post qualified experience in employment / workplace law, including experience in advisory and litigation matters
Strong drafting and advice writing skills
Superior analytical and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively with clients
The ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
