This role sits at the heart of product innovation within the business. You'll be responsible for turning ideas into well-designed, manufacturable products that are practical, cost‐effective, and easy to install.
Working closely with internal teams and external suppliers, you'll be involved throughout the full product lifecycle, from early‐stage concepts through to production and ongoing improvements.
What You'll Be Doing
* Translate ideas and requirements into well‐thought‐out product designs
* Build 3D models and technical drawings to support manufacturing
* Refine and improve designs based on testing, feedback, and real‐world use
* Ensure products are productive to produce, assemble, and install
* Liaise with suppliers to support development and production outcomes
* Play a role in both current product initiatives and enhancements to existing ranges
What We're Looking For
* Background in Industrial Design, Product Design, or similar
* Experience working in building products or construction space is preferred
* 3+ years of experience working on physical products that are manufactured at scale
* Confident using CAD software (SolidWorks or similar)
* Understanding of common manufacturing methods (e.g., extrusion, moulding, fabrication)
* A practical mindset, strong attention to detail with the ability to take ownership of projects
