The opportunity is now available for a Junior Management Accountant to join Police HomeCare and play a key role in supporting the organisation's financial performance, service delivery and long-term sustainability. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations and payroll processing, in addition to handling all NDIS claims and billing. In collaboration with the finance team, you will maintain accurate financial records, improve systems and processes where applicable and ensure continued compliance with the NDIS Price Guide and standards.
This role offers the chance to work closely with an exceptional and high-performing team across a broad range of responsibilities central to Police HomeCare's effective operation. You will deliver accurate financial and service management while gaining exposure and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance client experiences and organisational efficiency.
You will be skilled in relevant accounting software, Microsoft Excel and Visual Data Solutions, and demonstrate proactivity, true initiative and an appetite for your own professional growth and development. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, combined with high-level attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities will be key to your success in this role. A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field is essential.
