Our supportive work environment and dedication to career development make Coogee an excellent place to advance your future.About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Plant Engineer to join our Production team based in Kwinana WA.Key Responsibilities:Provide process management and technical review and support for operators and other operating groups.Understand the Major Hazard Facility Safety Case and have input on its review and development.Improve the safety, productivity, efficiency, and reliability of the operating plants.Drive continuous improvement of the operating plants through new products, processes, equipment, and people.Investigate, develop, design, install, and manage plant modifications and upgrades, ensuring project delivery in terms of time, cost, scope, and quality.Develop and maintain process flow diagrams (PFD), heat and mass balances (HMB), and process and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) as needed.Develop and maintain SOPs, forms, work instructions, and operator training materials.Support HSEQ studies, initiatives, and investigations, including HAZID, HAZOP, and risk assessments.About YouPossess a tertiary qualification in Chemical Engineering with at least 2 years of experience in an operations environment.Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic, fast-paced workplace, adapting to changing priorities.Sound understanding of Chemistry and Chemical Processing, with the ability to apply these skills in a manufacturing plant.Ability to monitor and adjust plant process conditions to optimize performance.Lateral thinking skills to develop innovative solutions for challenges outside typical role requirements.What We OfferCompetitive salary and financial incentives (including expected salary to be added here)Benefits and PerksWellness incentivesSocial events throughout the yearHow to ApplyClick "Apply Now" to submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your suitability for the role.Coogee Chemicals is an equal opportunity employer committed to workplace diversity.
