Maintenance Storeman – Griffith Hatchery

Based in the Griffith Area, we are currently looking for a maintenance storeman to join the Griffith Hatchery team in an ongoing role.
The successful candidate must be flexible in their ability to work as well as some overtime and weekend work. This position would suit someone looking for a long term career. NO short term applicants will be considered.
To be considered for this role you must have:
Organise, schedule and undertake Hatcher and Setter servicing, checks/repairs (bearings, sensors, motor changes)
* Weekly safety checks
* General repairs to machines – pulleys, fan blades etc
* Test and Tag equipment
* Trolley maintenance (racks and dollies)
* Air conditioner servicing and filter changes – inside and outside units
* Minor breakdown and running repairs (taps, hoses, fittings, doors)
* Assist Maintenance Supervisor
* Assist contractors
* Attend meetings as required
* Organise, schedule and undertake equipment maintenance and repair (dema units & cleaning equipment)
* Check and replace blown lights
* Organise, schedule and undertake monthly electrical checks and cleaning
* General grounds keeping & gutter cleaning and repair
* Organise, schedule and undertake water rotation
* Soil and water testing
* Calibrate machines
* Parts identification, sourcing, ordering and pick up
* Organise, schedule and undertake Box washer servicing
* Embrex machine servicing
* Service blower
* Organise, schedule and undertake TSP checks and repairs
* Minor repairs with stick welder (major repairs done by supervisor)
* General maintenance as required
* Must be in Australia to apply for position
