Our operations located near Coober Pedy currently mine and export 3Mtpa+ high grade Iron ore. About the opportunity Agile Mining Services are seeking an experienced Senior Mine Geologist to join the Technical Services Team as part of the complete operation, from geology through planning to Port. This role is based at Buzzard Mine site, however, may be required to work or be based at another site or operation. What the role offers The Senior Mine Geologist will be responsible for managing the grade control, data collection, data entry and logging, and ROM management. You will be proactive in continually improving the systems and processes in all areas to ensure the quality of the ore being produced. Agile Mining Services emphasises partnerships with other companies. This is a permanent FIFO/DIDO role, working an 16/12 roster. 7+ years open pit mining experience, iron ore would be advantageous Relevant tertiary qualifications in Geology Highly developed computing skills in Surpac, GCX and in the MS Office suites Commitment to safety in the workplace Passion for continuous improvement What is on offer: 16/12 lifestyle roster.
