You'll be responsible for implementing and managing NSX-T firewall policies within an enterprise environment, ensuring secure, compliant, and highly available infrastructure. You'll work closely with engineering, operations, and DevOps teams to deploy firewall changes through pre-configured Jenkins pipelines, manage version-controlled configurations via BitBucket/GitHub, and support critical network infrastructure.
What You'll Be Doing
Designing and implementing NSX-T firewall rules and policies
Managing firewall logs, traffic flows, and bypass policies
Supporting payment edge firewall environments (Layer 2 based)
Running and executing pre-set Jenkins pipelines
Managing configurations using Bitbucket and GitHub
Contributing to change and incident management processes
Supporting production deployments and critical infrastructure changes
Working from an operational perspective to implement secure, scalable policies
Essential
What We're Looking For
Strong hands-on experience with VMware NSX-T
Deep understanding of firewall rules, policies, logging, and traffic behaviour
Experience running Jenkins pipelines
Proficiency with Git-based version control (BitBucket/GitHub)
Experience in change and incident management environments
Background in production network or firewall build roles
Desirable
Automation experience
Python scripting knowledge
Experience in financial services or other regulated environments
Exposure to CI/CD-driven infrastructure deployments
