An opportunity has arisen for a Business Analyst to join their team, supporting the management of a diversified portfolio of retail and commercial assets through data-driven financial and valuation analysis.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Complete lease analysis for proposed new leases and lease renewals.
* Maintain leasing budgets and associated databases.
* Collate and analyse relevant market research and property data.
* Prepare investment feasibility studies and cashflow analysis.
* Assist in the preparation of Quarterly Reporting and Strategic Asset Planning.
* Coordinate external valuations and assist with the preparation and maintenance of internal valuation models.
* Analyse historical and forecast performance to optimise property valuations.
* Support reporting accuracy through timely reconciliation of financial data.
* Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to deliver accurate portfolio reporting.
* Provide analytical support in the management of retail and commercial property assets.
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Property, Finance, Commerce, Economics or similar, AND/OR
* 2+ years' experience in an analytical role within the property or valuation industry.
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
* Exposure to property valuation principles and financial modelling.
* Experience with property modelling software such as Forbury (highly regarded).
* Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders.
