In a serene environment, our patients rediscover health and wellness following experiences of stress, anxiety, depression, chronic pain, substance misuse, dependency, grief, trauma, and eating disorders.The successful candidate will have advanced organisational and communication skills and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment. This position is central to ensuring that The Banyans Health and Wellness Residence runs smoothly for our guests, and that they achieve the results they desire.This role is unique as it provides you with the opportunity to utilise your advanced clinical skills in a dynamic environment, with positive outcomes witnessed every day!About YouOur programs are residential based and the ideal person will possess the following:Ability to demonstrate competence in the provision of nursing care as specified by registration requirements, NMBA standards and codes, education preparation, relevant legislation and context of care.At least 3 years post-graduate experience as a Registered Nurse.Advanced clinical assessment and treatment skills with background in acute settings (desirable).Assumes accountability and responsibility for own actions and delegation of care to enrolled nurses and wellness coaches.Demonstrates evidence of autonomy and exercises greater levels of professional judgement in the clinical environment, utilising advanced clinical skills in a dynamic environment.Mental health experience in a clinical setting, or desire to develop these skills.Demonstrated ability to be calm and considered under dynamic work conditions.Demonstrated experience and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, with excellent written and oral communication skills.High levels of computer literacy required.Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays in addition to on-call work.Respond appropriately to sudden alterations in the health status of consumers (guests/patients) using comprehensive nursing assessment and intervention skills.Integrate organisational policies and guidelines with professional standards by maintaining current knowledge.Practice collaboratively with the interprofessional health care team to promote the safety, security and personal integrity of individuals.About the BenefitsOur values are Care, Respect, and Joy - and they guide everything we do.You will be part of a visionary healthcare organisation that has a strong sense of mission, coupled with innovation in treatment models.
