About the Anglican Diocese of Perth
The Anglican Diocese of Perth (Perth Diocesan Trustees) promotes a workplace that actively seeks to include, welcome, and value the unique contributions of all people. The Opportunity
The Anglican Community Fund (ACF) is an associated entity of the Perth Diocesan Trustees and is a well-known community fund with over 59 years of expertise in investments and loan facilities. We pride ourselves on helping our clients be financially stronger and giving back to the Anglican community.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our small team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Executive Officer, this is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional with experience in the banking or financial services sector to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Prepare, analyse, and present management reports, budgets, and forecasts
* Manage and oversee the accounting systems and policy, risk control mechanisms, and office operations
* Completing BAS, lodgement, and processing refund
* Assisting the Executive Officer with the administration of the loan and investment portfolio
* Primary contact for our Auditors to complete an efficient and timely audit of the annual financial statements, ensuring that the financial statements are accurate and compliant
* Preparation of budgets for Projects, monitoring, and reporting on variances
* Assist with regulatory and compliance reporting
* Lodge information to external parties such as the ACNC to ensure compliance
About You
You will be degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 12 months' experience in a management accounting role with experience in banking or financial services.
You will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
An excellent communicator and confident in managing a variety of ACF stakeholders.
