About the opportunity
We are looking for early-career professionals to join our Services Consulting team as a Workforce Management (WFM) Consultant. In this role, you’ll be working with our enterprise clients to implement Dayforce HCM — focusing on time, attendance, scheduling, and labor rules that directly impact how organizations manage their people.
This is not a traditional administrative role. It is a challenging, fast-paced consulting position where you'll be empowered to solve real business problems, work directly with clients, and translate complex requirements into smart, scalable solutions using technology. If you’re adaptable, curious, and excited to grow into a client-facing, systems-focused role — we want to hear from you.
What you’ll get to do
- Work as part of a project team to implement Dayforce Workforce Management modules for enterprise customers across Australia, Recent Zealand, and beyond.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand business rules related to time tracking, scheduling, compliance, and labor policies.
- Design, configure, and test WFM solutions that meet client-specific needs and regulatory requirements.
- Translate business challenges into structured software-based solutions, supported by documentation and logical configuration.
- Troubleshoot configuration issues and think critically about root causes and resolution paths.
- Participate in client workshops, internal design reviews, and testing cycles.
- Grow your platform knowledge, consulting toolkit, and functional expertise through on-project mentorship and formal training.
Skills and experience we value
This is not a routine, step-by-step administrative job — it’s a dynamic and hands-on role that will stretch your thinking and build your consulting capability. It’s suited to individuals who want variety, challenge, and the opportunity to grow into a trusted advisor role.
You might be:
- A professional with 1–3 years of experience in HR, business operations, scheduling, retail leadership, or workforce administration, looking to move into technology consulting.
- A recent graduate from a business or technical program who wants a role that blends people, process, and software.
- Someone with experience in client-facing, analytical, or support roles who is ready to pivot into an implementation-focused career.
- A problem solver who thrives in ambiguity, loves digging into how systems work, and wants a role that is both structured and creative.
What would make you really stand out
- Strong communicator – can hold their own in customer conversations, and switch between technical and business language.
- Structured thinker – breaks problems into parts, asks the right questions, and builds logical paths forward.
- Technically curious – excited to learn new systems, play with configuration tools, and understand how data flows.
- Adaptable and proactive – thrives in evolving environments and knows how to stay productive in uncertainty.
- Client-focused – enjoys working with people, solving real-world problems, and making complex things simple. Growth mindset – eager to learn, willing to try, and not afraid to say “I don’t know yet — but I’ll find out”.
