The Contracts Administrator will play a pivotal role in overseeing the efficient functioning of contract and agreements relating to firm operations, ensuring a conductive working environment within each section and the firm generally. The position requires strong leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills. Reporting to senior lawyers in each division.

Key Responsibilities:

· Developing and managing contracts with clients, partners, suppliers and internally for the company;

· Working under supervision of Principal Lawyer, Anthony Perich in the Mortgage and Finance division and Associate Lawyer, Mike Beckett in the Leasing division of the firm, including settlement deeds, consent deed, sales contracts, lease agreements, loan agreements, mortgage deeds, licence agreements and general contracts for commercial and private matters;

· Negotiating and drafting terms and conditions of contracts, deeds and agreements;

· Under supervision for lawyers, drafting and marking up internal firm contacts, internal playbooks and staff manuals and guidelines for best practice, and contract-related processes;

· and costs agreements provisions;

· Ensuring all records are accurate and up to date

· Writing contract letters and other notices;

· Resolving any queries or issues that arise with contracts

· Attending regular meetings to discuss and assess the current contract;

· Reporting to executive management and/or supervising lawyer in relation to contractual matters;

· Revising the current agreement templates and precedents used by the firm, such a merger documents in LEAP management software;

· Handling contract-related documentation work and correspondence with clients and staff;

· Updating and renewing existing contracts after regular intervals so that the integrity of the contract information is maintained, including deadlines and critical date related bring ups;

· Preparing and managing contractual correspondence

· Administering with support staff the drafting, development, and review work of contracts; and

· Incidental tasks and duties as required and directed from senior staff.

Qualification/Experience Required:

· Diploma in Management / Business (preferred although not required) and at least 2 years relevant work experience in the occupation or closely related occupation.
